Day 1: Arrival in Sri Lanka

Upon arrival at Colombo CMB airport, you’ll be greeted by your tour leader and transferred to your hotel. The day is at your leisure to relax and unwind. If your flight arrives early, take the opportunity to enjoy the amenities of your hotel or explore the surrounding area.

Day 2: Sigiriya and Minneriya/Kaudulla National Park

After breakfast, journey to Sigiriya and explore the iconic Sigiriya Lion Rock, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the afternoon, experience a cultural village tour and embark on a thrilling 4×4 jeep safari at Minneriya/Kaudulla National Park to spot wild elephants in their natural habitat.

Day 3: Kandy and Cultural Sites

Travel to Kandy, the capital of the last Sinhalese kingdom. Visit the Royal Cave Temple and Golden Buddha Stature, as well as the Temple of the Tooth Relic, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Explore Kandy’s bustling city center and attend a cultural dance show in the evening.

Day 4: Nuwara Eliya and Tea Plantations

Head to Nuwara Eliya, known as “Little England,” and visit a gem museum to learn about Sri Lanka’s renowned gems and jewelry. Explore the Peradeniya Royal Garden and tour a tea factory to experience the process of making Ceylon Tea. Enjoy a leisurely walk through Nuwara Eliya’s city center and markets.

Day 5/6: Train Journey to Ella

Experience a scenic train journey from Nanu-Oya station to Ella village, passing through breathtaking landscapes. Explore the Nine Arch Bridge and trek to Little Adam’s Peak. Spend the evening relaxing in Ella’s village center.

Day 7: Yala National Park Safari

Depart for Yala National Park and enjoy a thrilling 4×4 jeep safari to observe wildlife, including leopards, elephants, and colorful birds. En route, visit Ravana waterfall in Ella.

Day 8: South Coast Beach Relaxation

Arrive at Mirissa/Dickwella beach and relax on its golden sands. Enjoy swimming, sunbathing, and cocktails under the shade of palm trees.

Day 9: Whale Watching and Galle Fort Visit

Embark on a whale watching excursion in the morning. Later, explore the historic Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and visit a turtle hatchery center.

Day 10: Departure from Colombo

Visit Colombo, the capital city, and explore its highlights and shopping areas. Optionally, enjoy a memorable meal at a renowned restaurant before being transferred to the airport or your hotel in Colombo or Negombo, marking the end of your unforgettable journey across Sri Lanka.
